[2008-07-31 04:10:47] FIND YOUR MUSE Find your Muse (or how to ignite the creative spark within you) by Valx
Once upon a sunny day, we decide to do it our way. Horseshoes fall into the sea, we wonder what we want to be. We know what we'd like to make, but cannot net Nessie from the Loch Ness lake. Nor can we net a shooting star, falling from the universe. When a green horse leaps a purple moon, hide Seven Sisters inside your purse.
Then upon a cloudy night, we ascend up, up, like a kite. Beyond shadow puppets on the lofty house, with owls that soar with mighty mouse. There is where we'd like to make, yet cannot set King Kong on top the birthday cake. Nor can we swim the rivers of Mars dressed in lace. When a elk's-a-leapin the traffic sign, wrap Orion's Belt around your waist.
Next, upon the lofty home, counterclockwise we begin to roam. We open doors into the sky, we ponder pass the wonder why. We discover here we'd like to make, but cannot keep a Dinosaurs off a juicy steak. Nor can we wrestle hurricanes into a waterbed. When intuition eclipses the celestial stage, grab the planets in your solar head.
Now atop the starry stage, we release zodiac animals from their cage. Blueberries float into a vanilla cloud, as we wing by we laugh out loud. We sense now we'd like to make, but cannot comb a dragon with the garden rake. Nor can we hunt like a shiny black cat. When brownies dance across the fence, pull the rabbit from your magic hat.
Once upon our magic show we become magnetic and begin to glow. Hidden mirrors reflect false imitations. Out of our seats there is no limitation. We probe ourselves of what to make, but cannot snare Sasquach on the cheesy take. Nor can we seek in big foot shoes. When the gopher appears with a plastic straw, put on your dark glasses and start singing the blues.
Still within the bright stagelight, we release the demons within our sight. Solomon's Seal grows from the rocks, a Ladybug lands with feet in white socks. We mine ours minds of what to make, but cannot lift a lion over a rattlesnake. Nor can we recoil with both hands in our pocket. When a UFO lands in your front yard, blast off to space in your own secret rocket.
Forward we travel on light at high speeds, smoking engines and planting seeds. Exploding from chaos comes another comic string, snaps by Nebula without a ping. We search the stars of what to make, but cannot squash Jupiter into an apple crate. Nor can we squeeze a quasar into a cookie jar. When meteorites shoot out from the sea, switch directions, follow thee.
Finally O searchers you must pay the dues, if you honestly want to embrace your Muse. Imagination climbs from root to crown, creativity travels in waves up and waves down. When we shake our chakras we can create, beit never too soon and never too late. Never a nor when your dues is good deeds. When the twist in my tale exposes all but one clue, open your heart, your Muse will find you. » read more
